I don't have time to seek my own career options. I rely on FHS to present the most viable options.

FHS#16 - PA or NP - Rural Northern Montana

Missouri Breaks type country. Great elk, deer, antelope, upland birds, duck , and goose hunting and fishing trout and walleye. They just built a new hospital last year. I put the doc there 6 or 7 years ago. They have another PA that has been there 4 or 5 years now. It is a rural FP setting, they need someone who can work clinic (4 days a week), admit and cover in patients... usually around 3 in hosp, nursing home rounds, and ER call 1/3. Volume is not high, you don't have to be in the hosp when you are on call. This is one of the few places that everyone seems to get along. Lots of time to do what you want, not overworked... but maybe a little overpaid. Housing is affordable. Easy access to three larger communities. The administrator has been there for years and I expect him to be there till he dies. He will do almost anything to get good people and keep them. Employee setting This is really a nice community, over the years the locums and perms have enjoyed the community and facility. It's worth looking at if you are looking to make a change.
